These terms govern every order placed through HouChik.com.

1. Who you are buying from
HouChik.com is operated by Robert Chachula, an individual entrepreneur (entrepreneur individuel) registered in France, with registered address at 15 Rue du Port, 33800 Bordeaux, France, SIRET 109 178 350 00012 and SIREN 109 178 350. We sell home and kitchen goods dispatched from France.
2. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm dispatch. We may decline an order if an item is out of stock, a price is clearly wrong, or we cannot deliver to your address.
3. Prices and VAT
All prices are in euro and include VAT at the applicable rate. Shipping is €4.95 per order and free from €60. Prices can change, but never after we confirm your order.
4. Payment
Online payment is being connected through Mollie and will support cards, iDEAL, Bancontact and Apple Pay. Until it is live, we email a secure payment link after you place an order, and nothing is dispatched before payment clears.
5. Delivery
Delivery terms are set out in our shipping policy. Risk passes to you on delivery. If a parcel is lost in transit, we replace or refund it.
6. Returns and legal guarantee
Consumers may withdraw within 14 days of delivery; we extend this to 30 days. Goods carry the statutory two-year guarantee of conformity. See the returns policy for the process.
7. Product descriptions
Handmade items vary in glaze, grain and colour, and photography cannot capture every batch. Small differences are a feature, not a defect. Dimensions are approximate within normal manufacturing tolerances.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our liability is limited to the value of your order.
9. Governing law
French law applies, without depriving you of the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
